How do I know that your food is safe?

Most of our chefs already own a restaurant that is inspected by their local authority. Additionally, we also work with chefs that want to avoid the cost of owning a restaurant.

But in order to work with us, all our chefs/restaurants must obtain food handling certificate from their local authority. In addition to that, we require they obtain liability insurance.

Furthermore, during your online checkout process, we require the need to specify dietary restriction to ensure allergies are factored into making your dish.

Do you deliver and for how much?

All deliveries are free, unless if specified. Do note that some chefs/restaurants prefer a pick up order only. The website will segregate delivery and pick up places for you.


Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Bronx.


I prefer a pick up after I order?

During checkout, please select pick up at restaurant to pick up your order. We will email you pick up location in the order confirmation email.


If I order lunch or dinner, how long will it take for my order to arrive?

We advise placing your orders in the morning to allow time to prepare your dinner or lunch.

Estimated arrival time for all lunch/dinner packages: Brooklyn & Manhattan: 1h-1:30mins, Queens: 2hrs, Bronx: 3hrs. Staten Island orders are pick up orders for now.


Do you have a special delivery time for catering services?

Most catered menu can be delivered or picked up within 24 hours of placing the order, however for cocktail or finger food events, we advise placing your orders two days in advance to allow time for planning. Once an order is received, we will call you for additional questions if the need arises.


Do you accept credit card and how do I know they are safe?

All major credit card via PayPal are accepted. This means that your credit card information is not stored at Munchafrica. PayPal handles all of that. We selected PayPal because of its international reputation and popularity.

Where are you located?

We are located everywhere in the city through the chefs and restaurants that provide the service.
